Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam can clean & recoat your wood floor. You will experience that beautiful shine that has dullened over the past years. First we will pre-inspect the area for wax, oily residue or other contaminants which may affect the adhesion of a new finish. We also find out if a re-coating system can restore floors, or if a more aggressive method is needed. Next, we will prepare the areas surrounding the wood, making sure not to disturb any other connecting floor types. At this point all furniture that will be cleaned under is moved. Step 3 is to remove all dry soil - this is most important to getting the best possible results. Step 4 - The cleaning process includes multiple applications of cleaning solutions with state of the art equipment which produces No Dust Whatsoever! Surface applications of common househould pollutants such as food residues or pet oils are removed without abrading you floor to expose any bare wood. Step 5 - The existing finish on the floor is then chemically etched and recoated with environmentally friendly, non-flammable, waterborne, polyurethane. This finish is formulated for heavy residential or commercial traffic and dries overnight. Step 6: After re-coating the floor - let them dry naturally without air movers, fans, heaters or air-conditioners, for this can cause particals in the air to drop onto the finish and stick to it. Step 7 - Final inspection with the client.
Super Bowl Sunday is approaching and my favorite recipe for this festive day is my Taco Salad:
Bag of Doritos (Nacho flavor) - 1lb ground beef - shredded cheese - olives - sour cream - taco seasoning packet - lettuce (shredded) - jalapenos (sliced) - tomatoes - (diced) - onion - (diced) - refried beans - (heated) your favorite taco sauce - brown your ground beef - mix in taco seasoning as directed - set up the condiments in a line and let people top their nachos with all the toppings - this is the quickest - tastiest super bowl treat you can make. Be careful not to spill on the carpet.
