The History of Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam
The owner’s of Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam Carpet Clean, Brian and Kelly Ritchie founded a janitorial service in 1995 called A Clean Sweep. Within the first few months of business clients began inquiring about carpet cleaning as well so they decided to offer this service as a courtesy to their valued clients. After a successful first year in the carpet cleaning industry; The Ritchie’s goal was to focus on expanding the carpet cleaning service. So they bought into Valley Steam Carpet Clean in 1996 and have been running their operation under that name since. The company, which had been established in 1976, already had a solid reputation and clientele. The Ritchie’s brought a service level that surpassed the client’s expectations; earning the company a golden reputation. They quickly grew from a one van operation to a four van fleet in only five years. As word got around referrals came pouring in resulting in a client list of more than 2,500.
In 2006, The Ritchie’s had the opportunity to buy out Mr. Steam, a company that was established in 1983 in the Wood River Valley. By doing so, they chose to forego all flood restoration work and now specialize only in textile cleaning. Both carpet cleaning companies have an outstanding reputation in their respective service areas; so when merging the companies together they decided to combine the names to create Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam Carpet Clean; servicing both the Wood River Valley and Magic Valley as well as Cassia County, as one firm.
Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam is the only IICRC certified firm in Southern Idaho with a twelve step cleaning system, which allows them to guarantee the most outstanding carpet cleaning experience ever. Together with their experienced technician’s Brian and Kelly are determined to raise the bar for professional and honest service companies. Mr. Steam’s Valley Steam continues to successfully grow and flourish because of their high values and work ethics.
